I’ve been up to things again!

I cut Alex’s hair earlier … I asked him to be brave, it is sort of radical!

The Gatwick trip went well yesterday except for my being extra tired and nearly falling asleep several times on the way down which, incidentally, took under 2 hours for some reason! I had lunch in Tesco because I know all the best places and, went to McDonalds for a McNapp to try and stop myself falling asleep any more.

Am very glad no one was sold for Camels, Anne looks stunning in her bikini pictures but, just like me, no matter how the body looks, it’ll never be good enough! They all look good with their suntans.

Grandchildren

I am so lucky to have both my grandchildren and am very thankful to all those who either help create them or raise them.

Little Josh has been a misery these past few days but then, he does have his two front teeth coming through to join the other 4 he already has. Tomorrow I get to give Immy a hug, it’ll certainly be the highlight of my trip to Gatwick!

Silly things people say …

On the BBC this morning there was a piece on ‘The Cuts’ and one of the things which may be cut is the Post Bus, particularly one in the Yorkshire Dales. One man was being interviewed, a local business man who used the bus daily and he said …

“The bus is essential. I mean, I can walk in the summer so that’s not so bad, but, in the winter when there is three foot of snow, that’s why I need the bus!”

I am hoping, you, like me, are thinking … how the hell is the bus going to be any good in three feet of snow?
